Carbon Upcycling Technologies aims to become the world's most impactful CarbonTech company by creating high-performing materials that replace conventional carbon-intensive ones, as well as by contributing to resilient infrastructure and products. It also strives to integrate the circular-economy model into everything it does, namely by upcycling local, ubiquitous waste streams for its CO2 adsorbents. This project will utilize waste CO2 emissions from cement producers to create high-performing cement substitutes, resulting in both direct and in-direct emissions reductions. The project is currently in the "Under Development" phase with Verra and will issue its first credits in 2023.
